Expendable Being offers a mirror to all of us, to notice in its reflection, the reality of our world. As the glass bricks become more identical, they be­come more perfect and valuable. Inspired by truly great social thinkers and artists Expendable Being offers a caution to be aware that, like glass bricks, we ourselves are becoming identical bricks in contemporary society. We are complacently fooled by the placebo effect of illusory autonomy, into gradually, voluntarily (yet unconsciously), abandoning personal freedom to fit into the mass culture of consumerism.
