Homo-Involucrus (2023–)

In this series Homo-Involucrus, where the earth's primal colors and textures are concealed beneath vibrant pigments, the transparent involucrum—a layer of glass spheres—acts as a paradoxical medium that amplifies the raw, visceral texture of the clay hidden under the coating. Despite its meticulously embellished exterior, this artificial veil refracts and reveals the rugged soil from within. It serves as a profound metaphor for Homo-Involucrus : the modern human condition, where individuals are entirely shrouded by fabricated images yet inevitably betray glimpses of their underlying reality through the cracks of the facade.
